‘Death Would Reach for Us…’
I am completing grade 11 at Munali Boys High School, and I wish to share my testimony with you about what the Reach4Life program has done in my life.
Before being introduced to the program, I was in a group of friends that were into partying, drinking and girls. Every Friday and Saturday we would go out, and smoke and drink heavily.
But one day all the pupils were called for an assembly where we were talked to and given the Reach4Life books. What was said during the assembly touched my heart so much that I started thinking about my life and what I was doing to it. One of the speakers said if we don’t change our lifestyles and reach for life, death would reach for us.
From that point I went through the Reach4Life book and found a lot of encouraging messages. Topics like friends and pressure, sexuality, drugs and alcohol and many more helped me very much, and showed me that God still cared for me and I could start over again, which I have done.
