The Hope for Children (HFC) child-sponsorship program began humbly in 1996, when we sent support to Pakistani friends who desperately wanted their children to get an education. Almost simultaneously a project was developed in Haiti. Others quickly followed, and today sponsors are assisting nearly 4,000 children in 12 countries around the world through HFC.
Your sponsorship of only $40 a month can make a huge impact in the life of a child in need. While it doesn’t sound like much, your monthly support will provide food, clothes, basic medical care, and enable a child to go to school–a gateway to a bright future.
Sponsoring a child is a special experience for the child and the sponsor. You will have the chance to connect with and care for a child in need, and get to know them personally. You can share wisdom, hope and encouragement with your child as you watch them grow and develop. Your child will also be blessed by the experience as they learn from you and appreciate your impact on their life.

…by providing food during difficult times, by purchasing a school uniform, book bag, and shoes for a child who used to go barefoot, by paying tuition for a child who otherwise would have not been enrolled in school, by getting a child to a doctor for urgently needed medical care, and by sharing your love.
We take a personal interest in the well-being and development of each child in the program. We keep you updated on your child’s progress, and carefully monitor funds to assure sponsors that their investment is making a difference in the life of a child.
We do our best to find truly needy children in remote areas who will greatly benefit from sponsorship, making HFC a life-saving, world-changing program.
