Our work started here several years back in response to the millions of children in need throughout the country. While the Philippines has some exciting, world-class cities and facilities, many rural people live in utter poverty.
Our sponsorships here are geared to provide practical help for kids in need. Sponsorships provide schooling and tutoring, with a special emphasis on learning life skills such as growing vegetables, animal husbandry or sewing. Our kids here are not only given basic essentials like food and medicine, but are prepared for the future. 
Each area where we sponsor kids in the Philippines is overseen by a local pastor who develops relationships with communities and finds out where the real need is.
We mostly work with remote tribes here, and have seen great progress happen over the years. We have seen a dramatic increase in education in many communities, which has led to lower mortality rates, business growth (better gardens, more livestock etc.) and more overall prosperity. Parents are thrilled at the prospect of seeing their kids grow up educated with a chance at a better future. The kids are thrilled as well to gain knowledge and skills that can transform their village and their own lives.
