As the 4th most populous country in the world (240 million), Indonesia is of enormous significance on the world stage. Its large population also means lots of poverty, but HS-Micro loans are working to turn that around.

HS-Micro grew rapidly in 2008, and we anticipate more growth in the coming years. There is a huge demand for microfinance services here, giving us an excellent opportunity to reach out to large numbers of poor people.

Currently HS-Micro is providing loans to more than 1,000 “entrepreneurial poor” in Indonesia. With your help, we look forward to helping many thousands more lift themselves out of poverty in the coming years.
