The Local Enterprise Assistance Program’s (LEAP) mission is to empower and provide access to micro credit and financial services to economically disadvantaged people, thereby strengthening communities as an extension of God’s Kingdom.

LEAP is now providing loans to more than 14,000 Liberians and boasting an on-time repayment rate better than 98%. LEAP is bringing people out of poverty in a sustainable way. In a country still recovering from so many years of devastating civil war, LEAP is promoting stability, empowerment and positive change in Liberia.

LEAP’s good reputation and effectiveness has resulted in a partnership with KIVA, which has brought more awareness and attention to the need for microfinance services in Liberia.
