In Malawi, WHI is helping to drill fresh-water wells in partnership with the Cultural Awakening Society. In a country where nearly everyone directly depends on the land for survival (about 85% of all Malawians engage in some form of subsistence agriculture), access to clean, fresh water is a matter of life or death.
